Nils Heinrich - Brückentage in Übergangsjacke
Theater Fifty-Fifty, Erlangen, Germany
Nils Heinrich has no worries about his future - and he has good reasons. His name is Heinrich, he's dark-blond, has grey-blue eyes (the blue with an East German accent), and he reckons he's well-equipped for whatever comes next.
In his programme "Brückentage in Übergangsjacke", he thinks out loud about how to navigate a world where the justice system, police apparatus, and media are being rebuilt right now - and how to reach the right people: under-20s via 4chan or 8kan, 30-to-50-year-olds via WhatsApp, his own parents via SMS, and Grandma still sitting by the landline.
Gen-Z watches deepfakes on TikTok and wears Nirvana shirts even though they don't know Nirvana - which, according to Heinrich, would be roughly like him wearing a "Comedian Harmonists" shirt back in the 80s. He himself now communicates multiply encoded via Instagram: a red heart means love, an eggplant is absolutely terrible, a windmill means family trouble - time to escape. But where? At best to Rügen. Maybe to Mars. It's less crowded there.
