The White Rose

The White Rose is one of the most well-known German resistance groups. During the era of National Socialist terror, its members appealed - driven by humanist convictions - to every individual's responsibility for freedom and justice. At a time when right-wing ideas are once again gaining ground, engaging with the history of National Socialism is unavoidable.

We want to show that there were people who resisted, who did not look away. Who put their own lives on the line for their beliefs. Offering role models is a central part of what we do.
