Froggy - Open Air

Once again, the picturesque Heckmann-Höfe courtyard transforms into an open-air stage with a special charm. If it rains, the show moves indoors to the theatre.

The fairy tale of the "Frog King" gets a modern, sharp and funny retelling - without losing the wisdom of the original. Dr. König, owner of a frog-leg factory, gives his daughter Princy a precious golden ball pendant. Froggy, a young and rebellious factory worker, gets hold of Princy's golden ball, and she has to make him some promises to get it back... Although Princy has no intention of keeping her word, she gets caught up in her own daydreams and gives Froggy room to manoeuvre - until he reveals his true self, and Princy, in her moment of greatest need, helps him transform.
