On 7 August, pianist, composer and artistic director of the Langenargener Schlosskonzerte Peter Vogel performs with his quintet, playing his own arrangements spanning jazz and popular music. This year's guest artist is jazz singer Alexandrina Simeon.

In fine weather the concert takes place at the bandstand in front of Schloss Montfort; if the weather turns, it moves indoors to the castle's concert hall.

About the venue: Schloss Montfort

Schloss Montfort is a neo-Gothic castle sitting directly on the shore of Lake Constance in Langenargen, built in the mid-19th century for King Wilhelm I of Württemberg. The striking yellow building with its tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks on the German side of the lake. Today it serves as a cultural venue hosting concerts, exhibitions, and open-air events against the backdrop of the water.
