Film music live: from "Terminator" through "Star Wars" to "The Lord of the Rings"

Last year, Ulugbek Palvanov performed a solo recital at a sold-out Französische Kirche in Potsdam and received a standing ovation. An encore from "The Master and Margarita" sparked a demand for a full evening of film music - and that is exactly what followed: a concert that thrilled the audience. Now the programme returns for another performance.

Palvanov will play highlights from "Interstellar", "Back to the Future", "Titanic", "Mission: Impossible" and further works from the announced repertoire - from "Terminator" through "Star Wars" to "The Lord of the Rings" - along with surprises from the film music canon.

Ulugbek Palvanov began piano lessons at the age of five and went on to study in Uzbekistan, Moscow, at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" and at the UdK Berlin. He won first prize at the Steinway Competition in Berlin and has performed with international orchestras.
