Weeland - Soulful and Varied, Full of Emotion

Weeland blend retro soul and rhythm and blues with contemporary indie-soul influences. The collective around guitarist Patrick Wieland features vocalist Esther Cowens, drummer Tommy Baldu, keyboardist Martin Meixner and bassist Martin Stumpf - all seasoned musicians who have worked with Jan Delay, Max Herre, Max Mutzke, Cro, Roachford and Fantastischen Vier.

Their current album "The Soul Provisions" moves between intimate ballads and groovy tracks, showcasing Patrick Wieland as one of Germany's most distinctive voices when it comes to weaving soul, rhythm & blues, pop and jazz into a coherent whole.
