Stadtgespräch - im Mörgens!

According to Anne Applebaum, recipient of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, in democracies every election is also a vote on democracy itself.

The first Stadtgespräch at Mörgens - in cooperation with the Institute for Political Science at RWTH - puts this thesis at the centre: do elections in the current situation offer more reason for concern or for hope? The question arises in light of state parliament elections in three federal states in September and the US midterm elections in November.
