SINNBILDER - art tours with philosophical and theological reflections

On Thursday, 17 September 2026, from 19:30 to 20:30, the SINNBILDER series turns to the figure of Mary Magdalene: her historical, biblical, and legendary dimensions - explored within the exhibition Maria Magdalena. Sin. Pray. Love. at the Städel Museum.

The tour is led by art historians from the Städel Museum and Liebieghaus, together with Rev. David Schnell (Evangelische Stadtkirchenarbeit Museumsufer) and Dr. Stefan Scholz (KARM).

Regular museum admission applies. Museumsufercard holders get free entry - at the evening box office only. Registration is required at programm.staedelmuseum.de/kalender (select a date and fill in the registration form). A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
