Die Udo Lindenberg Show - Panik Power Band - Open Air 2026
Seestern Panorama Bühne, Zeulenroda, Germany
Panik-Power-Band brings the biggest songs and ballads from 40 years of Udo Lindenberg - classics like "Odyssee", "Jonny Controletti", "Honky Tonky Show", "Andrea Doria", "Horizont" and "Sonderzug nach Pankow", alongside tracks from the comeback album "Stark wie Zwei" (2008), including "Cello" and "Mein Ding".
At the heart of the show is Karsten Bald, Udo's double and the band's founder (2006), who has been immersed in all things Panikwissenschaft for over 35 years. In 2003 he won the WAZ lookalike contest, was then introduced to his idol by WDR on the Soundcheck show, and promptly performed alongside Udo in front of 8,000 people. These days the legend himself recommends Bald personally - at the Echo 2014 ceremony, Bald even stepped in for the real Udo at the aftershow party.
His voice, mannerisms and appearance have been described in the press as so convincing that audiences can barely tell him apart from the original. The band also keeps close ties with musicians from the Panikorchester, who occasionally turn up on stage as surprise guests.
