Minions and Monsters

The Minions have conquered Hollywood and are now causing all kinds of mayhem as actors. When director Max (voiced by Christoph Waltz in both the English original and the German dub) encourages them to make a horror film, they immediately set out to find a suitable monster. They turn to an ancient magic book and actually manage to summon one.

Predictably, their plan soon backfires and - naturally - puts the entire planet in danger. The Minions now have to undo the catastrophe they themselves created. Along the way, they can of course present themselves as the heroes who saved the Earth. What could go wrong?

This is the third Minions film and the seventh overall in the "Despicable Me" franchise.
