Extrawurst

At a tennis club in rural Germany, Heribert is busy organising the annual summer party. When a separate grill is suggested for Erol, the club's only Muslim member, a quarrel breaks out - what starts as a harmless disagreement quickly spirals into a debate about social and personal tensions that threatens to tear the club apart.

The stage hit by comedy writers Dietmar Jacobs ("Stromberg", "Pastewka") and Moritz Netenjakob ("Stromberg", "Ladykracher") now comes to the big screen as a feature film, directed by Marcus H. Rosenmüller ("Pumuckl und das große Missverständnis", "Trautmann").

Hape Kerkeling ("Der Boandlkramer und die ewige Liebe", "Kein Pardon") and Christoph Maria Herbst ("Der Buchspazierer", "Der Spitzname") appear on screen together for the first time. The cast also includes Fahri Yardim ("jerks", "Schock"), Anja Knauer ("Pumuckl und das große Missverständnis"), Friedrich Mücke ("Das Kanu des Manitu", "Ballon"), Gaby Dohm ("Die Schwarzwaldklinik") and Milan Peschel ("Beckenrand Sheriff", "Doppelhaushälfte").
