ELECTRIC RESIDENCE has been hosting electronic music evenings twice a year since 2023 for techno and house fans in Herne. The ELECTRIC RESIDENCE CONTEST at Flottmann-Hallen is one of them - and also a competition.

Four DJs compete against each other with their sets and must convince both the jury and the audience. The winner receives a slot at the next edition of ELECTRIC RESIDENCE.

About the venue: Flottmann-Hallen

The Flottmann-Hallen in Herne are a former industrial complex from the early 20th century, originally built for the Flottmann mining equipment factory. Today the brick halls serve as a cultural centre hosting concerts, theatre, art exhibitions and club events. The venue is one of the most distinctive examples of industrial heritage repurposed for the arts in the Ruhr region.
