In "Five, Six, Seven, Eight" (DuMont), Ewald Arenz tells the story of a tap dancer whose age and memories of missed opportunities throw him off balance. A journey to Ireland becomes an encounter with the past - and a question about the right sequence of steps. Arenz became known for novels such as "Old Varieties", "The Great Summer" and "Two Lives".
