War. Imagine It Were Here. - Premiere

What if you had to flee your homeland and start over in a foreign country - without speaking the language, without work, without family and friends? A young man escapes a war in Europe and eventually ends up in a refugee camp in Egypt. Without a residence permit, access to work and education remains closed to him, and the feeling of not belonging anywhere and being unable to return increasingly consumes him.

The classroom play "War" consistently reverses perspectives on flight and integration: Who flees here, who takes in - and what does that really mean? The play is a mobile theatre production developed specifically for school classes and aimed at young people aged 12 and up. Upon request, the theatre brings the production directly to you.
