Season Opening

Theater Salz+Pfeffer kicks off the new 2026/27 season with an evening that offers a first look at what's ahead. The season's motto is "Starke Frauen" (Strong Women) - not as a label, but as a question: what can strength actually mean?

At the heart of the evening are very different characters: Heidi, who keeps asking while others have long moved on; Alice, who enters a space and refuses to simply accept its rules; Carmen, who becomes dangerous precisely because she is no longer available. At a time when questions of who gets heard, who decides, and who is allowed to occupy which space are being renegotiated, the theatre tackles them with its own artistic tools.

The evening presents upcoming premieres, revivals and special projects - with excerpts from the programme, conversations with those involved, and a look at new artistic directions spanning puppet theatre, dance theatre and music theatre.
