The Tempest - Shakespeare in the Vienna Burgtheater Version - Theater on the Castle Courtyard

Prospero was once the rightful Duke of Milan, but was overthrown by his brother, cast adrift at sea with his daughter Miranda, and washed ashore on what appears to be an uninhabited island. There, with the aid of magic, he has once again established himself as ruler of the island's inhabitants: the air spirit Ariel and the sorcerous creature Caliban. When a ship appears on the horizon - carrying all his enemies aboard - the hour of his revenge seems to have arrived.
