The Singing Bone

A wild boar is ravaging the land. The king promises his daughter's hand to whoever slays the beast. Two very different brothers, Boff and Plip, are locked in the king's tower and sing their way to freedom - but then their paths diverge: Plip receives a magic spear from a mysterious little man and kills the boar. His jealous brother strikes him down on a bridge, buries him there, and presents the animal to the king as his own kill. Only through the "singing bone" of the dead Plip does the king's daughter find the trail to the truth.

The play tells this fairy tale in plain language using the techniques of "Poor Theatre". Duration: 1 hr.
