Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin performs at Kloster Chorin on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 15:00. The season's closing concert, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski, takes place in the Gothic ruins of a Cistercian monastery founded in the 13th century, nestled in the forests of Brandenburg. Violinist Maria Ioudenitch is the soloist. The programme features Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major and Brahms's Symphony No. 2 in D major. The open nave and preserved facades create an unusual outdoor performance space. An introduction to the concert will be held at 14:15 in the refectory. The orchestra returns to Berlin for three further concerts in September.
