Chamber music evening with Duo all'ungherese

The centrepiece of the evening is Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's (1809-1847) "Songs Without Words", newly arranged by Bence Hartl for flute and guitar. These are complemented and contrasted by works from other composers of the Classical and Romantic periods. Since both members of the duo - Anita Farkas (flute) and Bence Hartl (guitar) - have Hungarian roots, all the compositions of the evening are played and interpreted in an "all'ungherese" spirit.

Anita Farkas has been the solo flautist of the Heeresmusikkorps Neubrandenburg since 2022 and is a multiple award-winning musician. Bence Hartl is active not only as a guitarist but also as a composer and arranger - his pieces have been performed and recognised by artists and ensembles worldwide. He also teaches classical guitar, chamber music, and music theory.
