"The Three Musketeers" by Langenargener Festspiele: France, 1628. Young d'Artagnan heads to Paris to become one of the King's Musketeers - and meets Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The three most famous musketeers in the land are women: bold, quarrelsome, fond of a drink and bursting with energy. Together they are drawn into a dangerous game of love, loyalty, betrayal and court intrigue when a conspiracy threatens the Queen.

The adaptation was written and directed by Andreas Kloos and had its world premiere on 10 June 2023. Cast: Charlotte Böhm, Steffen Essigbeck, Birgit Unger, Tobias Wagenblaß and Anna Winter.

Recommended age 14 and above. Running time approx. 140 minutes including one interval. Performances run from 20 June to 8 August 2026 at the Konzertmuschel in the Schlosspark Langenargen; in case of bad weather at the Münzhof. A matinee performance ("Kultur am Nachmittag") takes place on Sunday, 12 July 2026 at 15:00 at the Münzhof.
