Anna Thalbach and Robert Stadlober present the opening gala of the Literature Festival at Schlosstheater Rheinsberg as a tribute to Kurt Tucholsky - featuring musical settings of his poems and a broad selection of his texts that offer a cross-section of his multifaceted work.

They are accompanied by soprano Marie Lina Hanke, who performs songs by Hans Eisler and Kurt Weill, and pianist Thomas Linstedt. Marie Lina Hanke is a prize-winner of the 35th International Singing Competition for Young Opera Singers, which is organized by Musikkultur Rheinsberg.

The evening is created in cooperation with Musikkultur Rheinsberg and is supported by the Ministry for Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg.

Robert Stadlober (born 3 August 1982) is an Austrian actor and musician. His sister is Anja Stadlober, also an actress.

Robert Stadlober was born on 3 August 1982 in Friesach in the Austrian province of Carinthia, and grew up in Puchfeld in the Steiermark (Austria) and in Berlin (Germany). As a child he worked as a voiceover artist for several films and he acted in different TV productions and motion picture films also. His largest success is playing the main role as Benjamin Lebert, a partially disabled teenager at a boarding school, in the film Crazy (2000). Later, he starred in Summer Storm (2004), a gay coming-of-age story set at a rowing summer-camp. Although The Advocate has claimed that he is bisexual, Stadtlober himself objects to such labelling, saying that he's just had some homosexual experiences and that this is normal.

The Schlosstheater Rheinsberg is a historic court theatre inside Rheinsberg Palace, the baroque residence where Frederick the Great spent his youth in the 1730s. The intimate hall hosts opera, chamber music and theatre performances, and is closely associated with the Kurt Weill Fest and the annual Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg festival for young opera singers.
