Far up in the north, where snow and ice last forever, lives Lars, the little polar bear. He can already ride on his father's back and catch fish with one paw. Swimming, though - that's still a bit of a challenge.

One day something terrible happens. Lars drifts all alone on an ice floe out to sea. And so begins his first great adventure.
