Description was written before the event

The exhibition "Bierstadt Nr. 1 - On Brewing, Miners and Cult Drinks" at Dortmunder U explores the rich history of beer-making in Dortmund - a city that was once one of Europe's largest brewing centres. The show connects the region's industrial heritage with its beer culture, tracing the close ties between local breweries and the lives of miners and steelworkers.
