The 75th Birthday - Premiere

Christine Gnann and Jörg Pauly: THE 75TH BIRTHDAY - A theatrical revue for Komödie im Marquardt. World premiere.

In 1951, Komödie moved into the Golden Hall of the Marquardt building. "The 75th Birthday" looks back on this history: a hastily assembled organizing committee is tasked with staging a jubilee revue - after discussions, compromises, and changes of plan, they manage to create a show that brings 75 years of theatre history to life: from musical to dialect, from classics to crime comedies, from Heesters to Hirschle.

Directed by Christine Gnann, who already demonstrated her feel for historical figures and material in "Häberle and Pfleiderer". On stage are Monika Hirschle, Bernadette Hug, Jörg Pauly, Gideon Rapp, Bianca Spiegel, and Reinhold Weiser.
