A theatrical revue for Komödie im Marquardt - world premiere

In 1951, Komödie moved into the Golden Hall of the Marquardt building. For its 75th anniversary, the theatre looks back on this history: premieres, performances, applause and joyful moments from seven decades of Stuttgart theatre history.

In "The 75th Birthday", a motley organizing committee must put together a jubilee revue. After discussions, compromises and changes of plan, they manage to create a show that brings the history of Komödie back to life - from musical to dialect, from classics to crime comedy, from Heesters to Hirschle.

Christine Gnann directs, having already demonstrated her feel for historical figures and material in "Häberle and Pfleiderer". On stage: Monika Hirschle, Bernadette Hug, Jörg Pauly, Gideon Rapp, Bianca Spiegel and Reinhold Weiser. Set and costumes: Barbara Krott. Musical direction: Felix Meyerle. Choreography: Maryanne Kelly. Dramaturgy: Lena Roth and Annette Weinmann.
