Die Grabowskis

Die Grabowskis are passionate gravediggers, gifted singers and storytellers - always with a touch of reverence. Despite their straightforward approach to the subject, they are likeable characters who entertain with witty-macabre stories about cheeky widows and cold bones: pitch-black humour, deadly funny, yet also ambiguous and with a moral - or perhaps pointless and with double standards? Who cares!

Jens Heckermann (known as "Pelvis" from the a cappella group Füenf), James Geier (part of the comedy trio Backblech) and Thomas Weber (founder of the KABIriNETT theatre) combine their years of stage experience. Heckermann impresses with vocal power, Geier with musical talent and confident intonation, Weber with sharp wit and falsetto voice.

They perform their evening concerts in the same places where they bury their clientele in the afternoons. The result is an unusual combination of vocal power, situational comedy, wordplay and profound moments.
