Reporter Slam - Right into the Press!

Journalism live: five reporters, ten minutes, one stage - Reporter Slam is back in Hildesheim.

Five reporters compete against each other, sharing their most gripping stories from the field: personal, surprising, often funny. Each has ten minutes to win over the audience with a true account from their own journalistic work - photos, videos, and music are all fair game. At the end, the audience votes for the Slampion of the evening, who earns a spot at the grand annual Reporter Slam final in Berlin.

The format was created in 2016 by journalist David Schraven and colleagues from the CORRECTIV network. It has since spread to numerous cities and media and literature festivals, including internationally. The Hildesheim edition marks the format's 10th anniversary; musical acts round out the programme.
