Jugendliebe and More...
Haus des Gastes, Seebad Bansin, Germany
16 €
A lighthearted evening with journalist and presenter Christine Dähn and songwriter and keyboardist Thomas Natschinski, centred on Ute Freudenberg and her cult song "Jugendliebe".
Christine Dähn - best known as the most beautiful voice of DT 64 - wrote the success story of the Weimar singer and will share the finest stories and anecdotes from her book: Ute's first love, her affection for a pig named Mäxchen and country air, Herbert Grönemeyer's swallowed vowels, and the love for Hauptstraße in Weimar's Schöndorf district, where John Lennon once declined to have his glasses repaired. Thomas Natschinski performs live alongside - including "Berührung", the most beautiful love song of the GDR era, which he composed himself.
Tickets are available at tourist information offices and at www.kaiserbaeder-auf-usedom.de. Admission: 16.00 €.
