Henri Hirt celebrates the premiere of his second book at the 12th Literaturherbst. The poet, born in 2003 in Cologne with Down syndrome, reads from his poems, reflections, and stories - texts full of heart and humor that explore all facets of life. Hirt's first book "Herz ist eine Sprache, die wir verstehen" gained recognition across Germany and was featured in the ARD magazine "titel thesen temperamente".
The evening is rounded out by conversation and discussion. Moderation: Kirsten Ehrhardt. Reader: Matthias Paul, Freier Theaterverein Heidelberg.
The event takes place as part of Literaturherbst Heidelberg 2026, organized jointly by Literaturherbst Heidelberg and DAI.
