Lee EL - Piano Evening
Klavierhaus Klavins, Bonn, Germany
20 €
"Monumental clarity and deep immersion in the instrument" - that is how the Badische Zeitung described pianist Lee EL after a concert in Teningen that ended with a standing ovation.
Lee EL is a pianist and composer who moves between classical music, jazz and tango. Her repertoire spans Mozart to Rachmaninov - classical works she reinterprets with jazz harmonies and rhythmic elements, complemented by her own compositions. The Wiesbadener Kurier also highlighted this blend of classical sound language with jazz harmonies.
The evening is designed as a narrated concert: Lee EL guides the audience through the programme with personal introductions to each piece, adapting the flow to the mood of the evening. Works by Mozart, Bach, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Liszt are on the programme, alongside her own compositions.
Suitable from age 5.
