Sounding Museum I Michaelsteiner Orgelspur — Kloster Michaelstein, Blankenburg
Description was written before the event

Three organs from different periods with distinctly different sound concepts will be presented in a guided musical tour. The opening features the mechanical organ of a music box, based on Renaissance sound ideals. Next is the organ by Friedrich Wilhelm Wäldner (1850) in the refectory, which remains deeply rooted in late Baroque tradition. The finale showcases the instrument in the Baroque monastery church - built in 1891 by Robert Knauf as a Romantic organ and expanded in 1904 by his son Ernst.

The performed musical pieces will be accompanied by explanations of the three instruments.
