Ritournelles. Or: Circling Around Circling (3+) - explore dance - Dance for Young Audiences

In "Ritournelles", everything revolves around circling. Dancing, humming and singing, three performers use their bodies and costumes to create a circle - sometimes enormous, sometimes tiny, sometimes taking the shape of a cave. Along the way, they invent new words, rhythms and movements, experiment, marvel and sometimes fail.

Behind the piece are choreographers and dancers Johanna Ackva and Laura Gary, collaborating for the first time. The team also includes Yuko Matsuyama (dance and music), Martin Sieweke (costume and stage) and Odile Seitz-Walser, who brings her experience as a dancer and dance educator for very young children.

The piece is aimed at children from 3 years old.
