Historical Tour

Across 17 hectares, Museumspark Rüdersdorf showcases traces of industrial history spanning over 750 years. Directly adjacent to an active quarry where rocks from approximately 245 million years of Earth's history are still extracted, expert guides lead visitors through the grounds and answer questions about mining and geological history.

The tour proceeds on foot past historic buildings and installations that once served limestone transport and processing. Among these are technical structures designed by renowned architects such as Schinkel - an architectural ensemble ranking among Germany's most significant industrial monuments. The park also features curated exhibition spaces, woodland and parkland, and water features.

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Please arrive about 10 minutes early at the Museumspark ticket office: Heinitzstraße 9, 15562 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin. Minimum group size: 5 paying participants.
