Fabian Kelly: "Erinnerungsstück - Magie, Momente, Monchichis"

What do Polaroid photos of terrible haircuts, Care Bears, fizzy powder packets, the Rubik's Cube and a "Dallas" poster have in common? They are all keepsakes that magician Fabian Kelly found in an old moving box in his attic - and they now populate his new solo show.

In "Erinnerungsstück - Magie, Momente, Monchichis", Kelly takes his audience on a time trip back to the 80s and 90s: mind-boggling gadgets, questionable fashion, great TV series, the school toilet. Woven throughout are magic tricks in which guests actively take part - paper planes, freely chosen words from children's books, a ring that reappears in a completely absurd spot. Stand-up comedy and life observations tie it all together.
