Inti-Illimani Histórico on European Tour

On 11 September, the Chilean band Inti-Illimani Histórico performs at Theaterhaus in Stuttgart - a curtain-raiser for the celebrations marking the group's approaching 60th anniversary in 2027.

The line-up features Horacio Salinas (composer and musical director since 1967), José Seves (singer and composer) and Horacio Durán (charango), alongside Pedro Villagra on wind instruments, Fernando Julio on double bass, percussionist Danilo Donoso and multi-instrumentalist Cristián Mancilla.

Classical guitarist John Williams has called Inti-Illimani Histórico one of the finest musical groups in the world. The Washington Post wrote as far back as 1983: "Inti-Illimani is the music and folklore of an imaginary country."

The concert is part of the 2026 European tour and features a production conceived specifically for this venue.
