MUSICAL MEMORIES

On 13 September 2026, Kristin Backes and Christoph Apfelbeck return to Theaterhaus Stuttgart with their new concert Musical Memories - already their fourth joint evening at this venue. The programme blends well-known musical theatre melodies with lesser-heard pieces, witty and interactive presenting, all backed by a live band.

Kristin Backes performed as Sarah in TANZ DER VAMPIRE in Stuttgart and Hamburg from 2022 to 2024, previously appeared in Füssen in DIE PÄPSTIN, LUDWIG2 and ZEPPELIN, and played Moaning Myrtle in HARRY POTTER UND DAS VERWUNSCHENE KIND in Hamburg. Most recently she toured China as Constanze in MOZART.

Christoph Apfelbeck was also part of TANZ DER VAMPIRE from 2020 to 2024 - as Nightmare Soloist and in the roles of Count von Krolock and Herbert. His credits include REBECCA, ELISABETH and DIE 3 MUSKETIERE; he most recently played Edna Turnblad in HAIRSPRAY.

Since May 2026, both have been sharing the stage in the musical RUDOLF at Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein.
