Salonorchester Wetzlar

Since the Bad Nauheimer Kammerkonzertreihe began, an ensemble from the Junges Sinfonie-Orchester Wetzlar has shaped one of its evenings each season. The mix of trained musicians, seasoned amateurs and young talents reflects the JSO Wetzlar's guiding principle: making music together across generations, on equal footing.

This year the JSO Wetzlar appears as a string ensemble. The programme features works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Edvard Grieg alongside compositions by English composers Carl Jenkins and Benjamin Britten - tracing a path from Viennese Classicism to 20th-century English music.
