"Der Frequenz-Sprung" merges theatre and computers: at the Fundus Theater, children aged 8 and up can choose whether to watch the play normally from their seats - or put on VR glasses that place them right in the middle of the stage action.

The play tells how computers came to be and introduces five inventors who all wanted to make the world fairer. One of them is Hedy Lamarr: a Hollywood star and inventor of frequency-hopping technology, which she wanted to use to stop a war. Alongside her are Ada Lovelace, Alan Turing, Katherine Johnson, and Wendy Carlos.

At the end, the play poses a question to the audience: What do you want to change?
