Frankfurt Jazz Trio - "Our Favorite Things"
Thomas Cremer - drums | Olaf Polziehn - piano | Martin Gjakonovski - bass

Frankfurt Jazz Trio was founded in 1998 by Thomas Cremer. In their current programme, the trio performs works by American and European composers as well as an increasing number of their own compositions - regardless of stylistic boundaries. Cremer has been a guest at numerous festivals, participated in radio and television productions, toured Africa and Eastern Europe on behalf of the Goethe Institute, and founded the group AXIS in 1994. In 2012 he received the Hessische Jazzpreis.

Olaf Polziehn, a native of Ludwigsburg, is today regarded as one of Europe's most sought-after jazz pianists. Concerts with Randy Brecker, Quincy Jones, Patti Austin, Al Foster and Horacio Hernández attest to this. Martin Gjakonovski, born in Skopje, began playing violin at age six and switched to double bass at fourteen. He came to Germany in 1991, studied at Hochschule für Musik Köln, and found in Dusko Gojković his most important mentor and bandleader.
