Book presentation and discussion

50 years after the "German Autumn", the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) opens an educational venue in October 2027 at Friedrichshafen Airport dedicated to the former Lufthansa aircraft "Landshut". The anthology "Landshut 1977. Left-Wing Terrorism in the Federal Republic of Germany" has just been published, bringing together contributions from various disciplines and testimonies from witnesses of that era.

Based on this publication, we will discuss how and from which perspectives we can remember RAF terrorism - and what significance the events of autumn 1977 still hold today.

The event takes place as part of "Friedrichshafener Tage der Demokratie 2026" in cooperation with the bpb. Duration: approximately 60 minutes, free admission.
