The cult figure Klothilde throws herself heart, soul and sharp tongue into the subject of women - after all, her establishment sees ladies of every stripe come through the door: housewives and businesswomen, retirees and the unemployed. She also happily spills from her own life - about her car-obsessed husband, trouble with her mother and battles with her waistline.

That women are the better men goes without saying for her. And that in a male-dominated society they still have to be twice as good to get by, despite quotas and double workloads - that's something a woman like Klothilde, who stands with both feet firmly on the floor of her crisis-proof institution, could sing a song or two about.
