Matinée at the castle
Sunday, 18 October 2026, 11:00 am, Hans Georg Pflüger Hall

Areg Hakobyan and Stephan Körner met while studying in Stuttgart and founded the duo Nor in autumn 2023 after a chance reunion. The name "Nor" - Armenian for "new" - reflects their artistic programme: works from the keyboard and piano repertoire in their own arrangements for two guitars.

Their repertoire spans from Baroque to Romanticism. They transpose the scores into the language of the guitar with chamber sensitivity and technical precision.

About the venue: Schloss Bietigheim-Bissingen

Schloss Bietigheim-Bissingen is a Renaissance palace in the old town of Bietigheim-Bissingen, dating back to the 16th century. Originally a ducal residence, it now houses the municipal museum (Stadtmuseum) and serves as a cultural venue for exhibitions and civic events. The building's distinctive stepped gable facade is one of the town's most recognizable landmarks.
