Open-air theater with masks and music, based on Theodor Storm

A summer this hot hasn't been seen in a hundred years. No green is left anywhere, a fire demon plays tricks on people and animals alike, scorching the earth bare. Then mother Stine remembers a fairy creature - the Regentrude, whom her great-grandmother once woke with a magic spell and brought rain back into the world. But where does the Regentrude live - and what were the words of that spell? Through theatrical imagery, masks and live music, the show tells a story of brave change and closeness to nature.

Theater NADI is an ensemble of dancers and actors, founded in 2004 by mime and actor Steffen Findeisen and Japanese actress Noriko Seki. Their work combines poetic gesture and ritual masks with dance. For "Die Regentrude", the ensemble collaborated for the first time with Potsdam puppeteer Nora Raetsch. The theater has a long-standing partnership with T-Werk.
