Concert: Return to Greenhill Land
Freilichtbühne Prerow, Germany
19 €
Klangfeder brings to the stage of Freilichtbühne Prerow a multimedia, fairy-tale narrative titled "Return to Greenhill Land". The story follows young Timmy as he embarks on a quest to find his missing uncle Thaddeus in the legendary Greenhill Land - a fantastical world inhabited by Fainche (the guardian of light), Moone (the star sweeper), a mysterious Nobody, and the Old Woman of the Valley. The production blends theatrical scenes, film projections, and songs to tell the story through to its surprising conclusion.
The musical was previously performed on stages in Upper Franconia in 1995 and 1996 - then featuring over 80 performers before sold-out audiences. Now, 30 years later, it returns as a completely reimagined, multimedia version.
Klangfeder successfully performed in Prerow in 2025 with their Nosferatu live show. Udo Langer and Markus Spielthaler received the German Rock-Pop Award in 2024 for best film music - for the newly composed accompaniment to the silent film classic. Udo Langer is also a multiple award-winning musician and filmmaker.
