DAS KLEINE ICH BIN ICH // Puppet Show for Children aged 3 and up

"But who are you?" - the frog's question sends the carefree little Something into a full-blown crisis. It sets off to find its kind, but along the way meets only animals that are different: horse, cow, fish, bird, hippo - the little I is none of these. Exhausted and at a loss, it suddenly feels like an absolute Nothing, until it notices something truly unique about itself.

This puppet show with live music is based on the children's book of the same name by Mira Lobe (Verlag Jungbrunnen Wien/München) and is aimed at children aged 3 and up.

The story is told and sung by a strangely large, colourful creature, a music-making box on four long thin legs, and a cheeky checked inhabitant of the box who climbs the green thread of the tale. The performances are supported through the KiA programme of the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Community Cohesion, and the Treptow-Köpenick District Office, Cultural Department.
