Longing, love, nature and farewell: Robert Schumann's music brings the entire world of Romanticism to life. The programme centres on his "Twelve Poems" op. 35 to texts by Justinus Kerner and a selection from the "Liederkreis" op. 39 to texts by Joseph von Eichendorff. The programme is complemented by Schumann's choral works and the impressive a cappella compositions by Jean Sibelius and Veljo Tormis.

A concert evening combining intimate art song, multi-voiced choral sound and Romantic poetry.

The Graf-Zeppelin-Haus is a modern congress and event centre on the shores of Lake Constance in Friedrichshafen.
