ZONES OF SIMULATION focuses on the US military training ground in Hohenfels, Bavaria - a place where war is trained, imagined, and inscribed into civilian bodies. The dance performance combines a digital world with narratives from former "Civilians on the Battlefield" and historical research into a resistant body language.

Before the performance, a tactile tour for blind and visually impaired visitors takes place.

About the venue: Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden

The Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden is one of Germany's largest multi-genre state theatres, housed in a grand historicist building completed in 1894. It stages opera, operetta, drama, and dance across several halls, with the ornate main auditorium seating around 1,000 guests. The theatre is also the traditional home of the International May Festival (Internationales Maifestspiele), which has drawn celebrated ensembles and soloists from around the world since 1896.
