Johannes Scheurich is regarded as Leipzig's deepest voice and is the Leipzig Songslam champion. This native of Mecklenburg moves between profound emotion and unvarnished social critique - laughter and melancholy alternate throughout his shows.

In 2020, the singer-songwriter released his debut EP "Now and Here" entirely independently. Just over a year later came his first full-length album "More of That" - the record-release concert at Moritzbastei sold out. Since June 2022, Scheurich has been performing on stage with his band.
