Münster Barock | Concert 2: Grand Tour - Cosmopolitans and Border Crossers

In the 17th century, the northern Netherlands rose to become a leading world power. As a tolerant refuge for religious exiles and a hub of free print culture, the Dutch Republic flourished - international influences merged into a new Baroque sound, and composers moved effortlessly across geographic and stylistic borders.

The second concert in the Münster Barock series travels across Europe: English songs, French court music, and virtuoso melodies from Italy.
