About: Dota Kehr

Dota Kehr is a German singer-songwriter who performs as DOTA. She plays banjo and guitar, writing songs that sit somewhere between folk and chanson, with a distinctly literary and political sensibility. In recent years she devoted two albums to setting the poetry of Mascha Kaléko to music.

About the venue: Mehringhoftheater

The Mehringhoftheater is an independent theatre located in the Mehringhof, a well-known alternative cultural centre in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. Housed in a former factory complex, it has been a hub for political, experimental, and fringe theatre since the 1980s. The venue hosts a diverse programme of plays, cabaret, comedy, and interdisciplinary performances.
